MISSIONS TEAM
FAITH PROMISE GIVING

We support all the missionaries from our missions team with love, prayers and communication. We identify the team who have been sent out from our church family, and are financially supported through Faith Promise, as 'Our Missionaries'. Our 'Partners in Mission' are people we support in various ways, some of which are also financially supported.

Our missionaries love to hear our stories as well as share their own. If you have any words of encouragement or words from God that you would like to share, please click here!

OUR MISSIONARIES

Hollie & Richard Simmons
Wollongong, Australia
Hollie and Richard Simmons along with their kids, are part of an organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). The Simmons' are based in Wollongong, NSW, which has a special focus as a training centre on reaching the unreached people groups of the world. Previously in YWAM, Hollie was involved in a Midwifery school called the Birth Attendant School. They brought vitally necessary healthcare to poor and often powerless women and children overseas. Richard has served with a ministry called Create International which exists to bring the gospel message through narrative films, documentaries, animation, and fine arts. A new season is upon the Simmons' as Hollie is now staffing the Discipleship Training School [DTS].

Godfrey & Glen Sim
Papua New Guinea

Godfrey and Glen serve with Mission Aviation Fellowship, who fly small planes in countries where communities live beyond roads. Through aviation and technology, MAF helps facilitate the transformation of lives physically and spiritually. PNG is one of the most difficult countries in the world for flying. Godfrey has recently changed roles in the organisation to be the new Church Relationship Manager. Glen is Communications Officer and writes and edits stories amongst her other support roles. They invite you to get to know them and the work through their quarterly newsletter, The PNG Sim Card.

Judy Bruce
India
In India, thousands of girls and women are trafficked in to the sex trade, or are at risk of being trafficked. Freedom businesses provide vocational alternatives to the sex trade and enable women to gain financial independence, access to healthcare, literacy, education and other social services – transforming their lives, their families and their communities. Judy plays a key role in a 'Freedom' Business Incubator, as Head of Learning and Development. She is responsible for the education, training and development of existing and new staff employed in freedom businesses, particularly in leadership roles. Judy has been involved in social justice education and community development projects across a range of contexts.

Geoff & Julie McGregor
Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Geoff continues to work closely with a group of young Cambodians; discipling, mentoring and training. Geoff and the team have a vision of setting up a discipleship training centre in Phnom Penh. Geoff and the team continue to run the small social enterprise (www.hasbean.com.kh) making and selling beanbags and furniture which helps to support some of their ministry work.
Julie continues to be involved with Prison Fellowship Cambodia running a Bible study and worship class with foreign women in Phnom Penh's women and youth prison. This year she is helping to coordinate and run the Refocusing network for Christian Cross-Cultural workers in the two main cities in Cambodia. These peer learning networks meet quarterly and focus on leadership development and spiritual formation.
