Compassion Trust

The Compassion Trust has been set up to fund and co-ordinate ministries already established at Grace: Outreach meals, school lunches and other ministries that may be added in time.

Outreach Meals

We have been holding meals every 7 weeks at Grace for 5 years.  We started with 33 people and now we host an average of 200 guests with numbers swelling to 450 at Christmas.  We provide great food and entertainment, plus the Christian message of love and acceptance.  The meals are run by volunteers and touch many hearts, quite a number of guests have become Christians.

School Lunches

This ministry has been running for 3 years to meet and help families with school Children and provide materials for three days of school lunches per week.  Bread, peanut butter, home-baked biscuits and apples are delivered to nearly fifty families.  We have a team of about 14 people to deliver and we purchase approximately 100 loaves of bread every week.  Phillipstown School Community Centre also receive bread from us to help with their breakfast programme.
