Passion Kids
Passion Kids is the awesome children’s programme run during the Sunday morning service at Beach Campus and afternoon services (at Spreydon). We strongly encourage children to have their own intimate personal relationship with Jesus and the foundational Biblical teaching presented in a fun age appropriate ways by enthusiastic leaders.
Children are divided in to 5 age groups:
- Flames: 2-4 Year Olds
- Blaze: School Years 1-2
- Wildfire: School Years 3-6
- Live: School Years 7-8
This rotation we're doing a topic on 'Superheroes'. We're starting with heroes from the Bible such as Jesus, Samson and Ruth, and the following rotation we will be moving onto heroes of our faith over past generations. For example Gladys Ayward, Jim Elliot and John Wimber.

Partnering with you
We recognise it is your role as a parent to help your children grow spiritually. After all, you have about 3000 hours a year with them, while we only have about 40 hours!
Our role at Passion Kids is to compliment your work, helping to reinforce the way you are teaching your children. In partnership we have a vitally important task, to convey God’s truth to the children of our church.
The flavour of Grace Vineyard’s Passion Kids
Children are a vital part of Grace Vineyard Church. Passion Kids is a part of Grace Vineyard’s commitment to families and to the family atmosphere that defines our fellowship.
There are over 100 dedicated volunteers who enjoy ministering in Passion Kids each week. Passion Kids is not a baby sitting service; it is not simply a “programme”, but it is an important ministry in its own right within the church.
Every 4-6 weeks all year 7 and 8’s meet for a social time. We have heaps of fun together going swimming, getting lost in the Maize Maze, Games nights, cafe nights, bonfire nights and heaps more. Our annual camp in March is always a big hit, too.
