Bridget Underhill
- Pastor, Plains Campus

I was born in England, raised in Canterbury and currently live in Rangiora. I studied painting at the School of Fine Arts, did discipleship and missions training with YWAM, grappled with Mandarin Chinese, and studied Te Reo Maori at Canterbury. I completed a PhD in Maori Literature. For fun, I play the cello, piano and elementary guitar.

I grew up in an Anglican household – Dad was the vicar and Mum was the charming vicar's wife. I believed in God and went to church every Sunday but something was missing. I knew a lot about God but didn't really know Him in any relational way. Everything changed when I was sitting in a service at Christchurch Cathedral listening to David Watson. He spoke about coming into a relationship with Jesus and curiously as he spoke I had a very real sense of God coming down to me. That night was the start of a new journey – coming to know Jesus and walking with Him daily, it's been quite an adventure. Currently, I'm loving the healing on the streets phenomenon and seeing Jesus at work in my role as Pastor of Plains Campus.
